Patient Compliance Info Available As Disease Control Priorities Project Custom Book

A plethora of patient compliance information is available as a custom book from The Disease Control Priorities Project, “an ongoing effort to assess disease control priorities and produce evidence-based analysis and resource materials to inform health policymaking in developing countries.”1

The site invites viewers to create a custom book from sections of two DCPP publications, Disease Control Priorities and Global Burden of Disease and Risk Factors.

Topics related to patient compliance appear frequently in these publications, and, while the focus is on developing countries, much of the medical compliance information is pertinent to patient populations everywhere.

The information is multifaceted, including not only clinical considerations but also priorities analysis, politics, sociological factors, and economics.

There is an adequate search function and chapters dealing, for example, with compliance can be conveniently selected. Once the choices are made, the title page can be customized and the table of contents and pagination are generated automatically. The completed custom book can be downloaded as a PDF file.
